My services are different from standard primary care because I only accept a limited panel of patients. The average primary care doctor has about 3000 patients to care for but I will only accept a few hundred so that I am available and accessible for you. I also do not take insurance but instead am hired directly by you so that I can be free to use my clinical judgment for your best interest and not the financial interests of the insurance company.

As an internal medicine doctor I see adults age 18 and older. Lab services done in the office include rapid strep, urinalysis dipstick and urine pregnancy tests. Other usual labs will be sent out. I do minor incision and drainage of localized skin infections but will refer you to a surgeon if it is beyond my scope. I also do shoulder injections for specific conditions. If you need chronic pain management I will refer you to a specialist as that is not my expertise.

Registration Fee:

$75 one time fee to cover administration and set up

Monthly Fee (billed at signup and then monthly on the date of your signup):

$60 /mo. for age 18-34

​

$75 /mo. for age 35-64 and up 

Monthly fee includes as many office visits as needed, unlimited secure messaging, cell phone access. There are no additional fees except as required for outside services such as imaging, labs, specialists.

At cost labs are available for many common labs for patients with a high deductible insurance plan or who do not have insurance coverage. The current list of at cost labs include: complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, basic metabolic panel, renal panel, hemoglobin A1c, lipid panel, ferritin, TSH, free T4, free T3, T-4, T-3 uptake, urinalysis, urine culture, 25-OH Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, folate, acute hepatitis panel (hepatitis A IgM antibody,  Hepatitis B Core IgM antibody, Hepatitis B surface antigen, hepatitis C antibody), pap smear, Chlamydia/GC, RPR, uric acid, fractionated bilirubin, estradiol, aerobic bacterial culture, HSV 1/2 IgG, HIV 1/2, phosphorus.

Preferred communication:  message through the secure Spruce app which you will be invited to download as soon as you sign up. Telephone is also available but I still prefer a text message for a little advance notice if you are planning to call so that I will be ready for your call. Although I cannot answer the phone while I am with a patient, I will return your call as soon as possible.

Appointments: use our online scheduling app or message me through the Spruce app and I will add you to the schedule. Same day and next day appointments are usually available in the office but also via video chat if that is more convenient for established patients.
